One person died in a jeep accident in Malika Rural Municipality of West Myagdi. Three people were injured.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Bharat Shrestha informed that 31-year-old Nagendra Rasaili of Chiuribot died on the spot when the jeep No. G1J 5612, which was going to Malika-4, Chiuribot from Sungrepani, fell 50 meters down the road.

There were 5 people in the jeep including the driver. 33-year-old Sher Bahadur Vick of Okharbot, 31-year-old Nagendra Gotame of Chiuribot and 22-year-old Bhimprasad Gotame are undergoing treatment at Darbang Basic Hospital. According to the district police office, the accident happened due to the negligence of the driver.

A team from the local police office, Darbang, has reached the scene.
