An old man who went to cut grass in Dhavlagiri rural municipality-7, Takam, died after falling from a tree. Deputy Superintendent of Police Bharat Shrestha said that the local 60-year-old Thaman Khatri had fallen from a khania tree in a forest about one kilometer away from his house.
According to Pranau Shrestha, a team sent from Takam police station reached the spot on Sunday evening after being informed by the locals.
The old man died on the spot. In the initial investigation, it was found that the grass fell from the tree while cutting, but the police said that further investigation is being conducted into the incident.
