Tourists visiting Manaslu region of North Gorkha have had difficulty walking due to heavy snowfall. Since this morning, Samgaon, Lho, Syala and surrounding areas including Samgaon, Lho, Syala and surrounding areas have been sheltered in Paytak Hotel since this morning.
Karmachewang Lama, ward president of Chumanubri-1, said that the tourists who were on their way to Larkepass stopped at Samdo village due to snowfall.
'14 tourists are taking shelter at Hotel Jammal in Samdo,' Nimadorje Lama, the owner of the hotel, said, 'Nine more tourists are staying at Hotel Yak and Dharamshala because they cannot go to Larkepass.' He said that the tourists did not want to take the risk and take shelter in the hotel.
