The Baglung section of Madhyapahari Lokmarg has been blocked due to rain and snowfall since Friday morning.

Due to the thick snow on the road, the Nisikhola-East Rukum section of Baglung under the public highway has been blocked.

One and a half feet of snow has fallen in Nisikhola Rural Municipality-6 Patihalne. Nisikhola rural municipality chairman Surya Bahadur Ghartimagar informed that vehicles operating from East Rukum, West Rukum, Jajarkot, Dolpa and other places were stopped due to the road blockage. He said that it is still snowing continuously.  

'It has been raining since morning, now it is snowing, so the road cannot be opened immediately .  If the snow stops and the sun shines, the road must be opened using a machine . Although the night buses from Kathmandu were operating in the morning, the long and short distance vehicles have not been operated yet', President Ghartimagar said.

Nepal's only Dhorpatan hunting reserve has also received heavy snowfall in the upper part. Chak Bahadur Adai, a resident of Dhorpatan Municipality-9, informed that life has been affected due to snowfall since early morning.
