One person died and three others were injured when an 'Eco van' crashed in Guithevir of Annapurna rural municipality-3 of Myagdi.
According to border police station Bhurung Tatopani, Ba 6 Ch 4944 number Ba 6 Ch 4944, which was going from Sukebagar in Annapurna Rural Municipality-3 towards Narchang under Beni-Jomsom-Korla road, fell from the road on the bank of Kaligandaki river.
Sundevi Gauchan (Sarita), 40 years old from Annapurna-4 Gharap, who was also the driver of the van in the accident, died on the spot, Chief Police Assistant Inspector Ramesh Prasad Adhikari of Border Police Station Bhurung Tatopani said .
He said that Rupa Pun, Namita Chochangi and Bishnukumari Budhathoki, who were seriously injured in the accident, were rescued and sent to Pokhara Hospital for treatment. A van carrying passengers going to Shiva temple in Narchang has fallen on the bank of Kaligand about 150 meters below the road.
