It has snowed for the first time this year in Dhorpatan. After a long period of drought, it has snowed here since Sunday evening along with rain. Cold has increased in this area due to snowfall. Farmers are happy with the hope that the crops will flourish after the snowfall.
Dhorpatan hunting reserve ranger Vinod Vick informed that the nearby areas including Dhorpatan valley were covered by snowfall. Life has become difficult due to snowfall. Vick said that although the weather has been bad since last Friday, it snowed with rain only on Sunday evening.
Prem Bahadur Gharti Magar of Dhorpatan Municipality-9 Dhorpatan said that due to the snowfall, it was difficult to give grass to horses and cattle. Although there was normal rain last month, there was no snowfall. Gharti said that snowfall with rain will improve crops. He said, 'There was a drought for a long time, due to the drought, all the crops planted in the fields had started to dry up, but it rained late.'
