KP Oli has nothing to distrust: Congress President Deuba

Chairman of Nepali Congress Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that political stability will be established if there is an agreement between the two major parties for many years.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the organization and contemporary context orientation for the District Party Chairman and District Training Branch Head held in Pokhara on Tuesday organized by the Central Policy, Research and Training Institute of Congress, he said that there is no reason to distrust KP Oli or UML.

'Oliji and we are friends who stayed together in prison, actually. There was a lot of pain and suffering. There was no chance of getting out of jail. He has been in prison for a long time. After the Jhapa incident, he was kept in a prison within a prison in the Central Jail. He is a friend who worked like that,'' he said, 'so even if KP Oli or UML is the main competitor, there is nothing to be afraid of, there is nothing to distrust.'

Even though Nepal's constitution is the best in the world, it is difficult for any party to get a single majority, so there is a compulsion to agree with some party. If there is no political stability, no government can work to determine how many days the government will last and how many days it will collapse. Its lifespan is not certain," he said. "The stability of the government made up of two parties is clear. Two parties have fought for democracy and democracy since before." In the

orientation, Congress Vice Chairman and Head of Training Department Purna Bahadur Khadka said that even though federalism and proportional inclusive system is the agenda of Congress, there is a misunderstanding among the party leaders. "Federalism is understood as the Madhesi and proportional inclusion system as the agenda of the Maoists," he said, "In fact, it is not like that, we established the agenda of Kadamjam (Karnali, Dalit, Women, Tribes, Madhesi) in 2006."  In the

orientation, the central member of the foundation, Bishwadeep Lamichhane, spoke about 'use and impact of technology in the organization of Nepali Congress', the director of the foundation, Dr. Jagdish Chandra Pokharel, said, 'Democratic socialism - the economic policy and practice of the Nepali Congress', the executive director of the foundation, Dr. Buddhiman Shrestha, said, 'The state of implementation of federalism in Nepal. and presented a working paper on the responsibility of the Nepali Congress.
