An Indian citizen has died when a bus and an EV-high collided in the Dumkiwas forest of Nawalparasi (Bardghat-Sustapoorva) under the East-West Highway. Nine others were injured in the accident.

A 40-year-old Shankar from Midhinipur, West Bengal, India, died when a passenger bus and an EV-high collided near the Division Forest Office in Vinayi Triveni Rural Municipality-1, Dumkiwas. Police Superintendent Yadav Dhakal of Nawalparasi District Police Office (Bardghat-Sustapur) said that nine other people were injured in the car.

Bus No. 1B 3361 going to Dang from Kathmandu and EV Hiace No. 01-006 B 7808 going to Kathmandu from Butwal collided. According to the police, all the passengers in the Haise are from Midhinipur, India and they are being treated at a local hospital.
