Lions Club International Foundation has handed over necessary health equipment for maternity treatment to Madhyabindu Nagar Hospital in East Nawalparasi. Equipment worth 1.2 million has been handed over to Madhyabindu Municipality with 3 million cost sharing.

Lions Rajan Lamsal, area leader of Lions Club International Foundation, said that necessary materials such as beds, video x-ray machines, and necessary equipment for newborns were handed over to Nagar Hospital. 

City Chief Bhimalal Adhikari said that the equipment received will be important to make the city hospital equipped with facilities. After the availability of health equipment, it is hoped that it will help the maternity services in the city and the treatment services of the city hospital. Madhyabindu Nagar Hospital has been providing round-the-clock treatment services.
