The 'Khichdi Yatra' has started from Gorakhnath Temple, the famous religious place of Gorkha, to Gorakhnath Temple in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. Homsingh Basnyat, president of the Gorkha Mata Seva Mahasangh, informed that the ``Khichdi Yatra'' was started for Gorakhpur this morning with the aim of promoting the religious and cultural importance of Gorakhnath Kalika Temple in Gorkha.
He said that to increase religious tourism activities in Gorkha, Khichdi Yatra has been started from Gorkha to Gorakhnath Temple in Gorakhpur since last year.
'On the occasion of Maghi festival, there is a tradition of sending khichdi from the Gorakhnath temple here to the Gorakhnath temple in Gorakhpur since ancient times,' he said. He says that
