A successful hernia operation has been performed at the Ambukhareni hospital run by Ambukhareni rural municipality. 59-year-old Madhav Prasad Wagle underwent successful hernia surgery at the hospital.

Shukar Chuman said that the team of Damauli Hospital chief and surgeon Dr. Parivart Baral, anesthesia assistant Kushal Bhattarai, Ambukhareni hospital's medical superintendent Dr. DB Chhetri, nurses Pooja Rawal, Seema Sapkota Chhetri, laboratory head Amrit Pandit and OT assistant Shravan Budhathoki performed a successful surgery. According to the hospital, the operation was successful in about two and a half hours. 

He said, "After the hospital has been granted permission to operate a new chapter major surgery such as hernia, appendix, CS center under the health service, patients who need surgery services will be able to get the service after a check."
