The police have arrested a person from Kathmandu on the charge of embezzling the funds of Pokhara-based Suryadarshan Cooperative.

Central Police Spokesperson and Deputy Inspector General of Police Dan Bahadur Karki informed that the arrested person is Krishna Gurung who lives in Pokhara.

He said, 'An arrest warrant had already been issued against Gurung. Our team arrested him at the Tribhuvan International Airport when he was stopped by the immigration when he was about to go to Qatar.'
