It has been almost 10 years since Dumre Customs started working on the new city project. The project, which has progressed to develop infrastructure so that one lakh population can live with essential facilities within 20 years, has shown that only one percent of economic progress has been achieved so far.

Out of the 44 billion amount included in the IDP, the project has been able to spend only 958.7 million rupees out of the budget allocation of 1.265 million rupees so far. The physical progress of the project has been 1.5 percent.
