23-year-old Shyam Khatri of Beni Municipality-9 Toripani, who was arrested in Pokhara, was detained for investigation by the Myagdi District Court on Thursday, according to the Myagdi District Police Office.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Bharat Shrestha said that Shyam, who was already arrested and absconding, was arrested and brought to Pokhara on Wednesday by a team from Myagdi with the help of Kaski Police.

The body of Pariyar, who went missing on the night of January 16, was found on July 27 in the forest of Kalimool on the border of Beni municipality-9 and 10. Ram Khatri, 25, of Toripani, who was arrested on January 23, 2080 for the crime of missing person, was brought before the Myagdi District Court. According to the detention order dated 17th of February, the prison was opened for preliminary investigation.

Ram was arrested by the police on the same day that the Kitani complaint was registered based on the conversation between Meena and Ram on Messenger about the six-month abortion. On July 30, the family, who identified the body found in the buried state as being made of glass, filed a complaint against Ram, his mother Renu Khatri, 45, sister Vicky Khatri, brother Shyam Khatri and his brother-in-law Rojan Khatri, 23, at the district police office. . Police inspector Rajan Rayamazhi said that Renu, Vicky and Rojan, who were arrested on different dates, are being detained and investigated.

'Even though a case was filed for the crime of missing a person, after the identification of the body, the family filed a complaint,' he said, 'the main accused Ram, who admitted his love affair with Mina, disappeared in the police, public prosecutor's office and the court. And he has given a statement denying the murder.'

Raimajhi said that the investigation was carried out based on facts and evidence such as the doctor's autopsy, the report of the forensic science laboratory, the materials found with the dead body, and messenger conversations. According to him, it has been confirmed that the body found was that of a woman, that she was killed using a sharp weapon and that there was also a fetus in her stomach. For further investigation of the incident, it has been sent to the forensic science laboratory of the police for DNA testing.

There has been a daily sit-in and demonstration in Beni for the last 15 days to investigate the truth of the Pariyar murder incident, take action and pressurize the victims for justice. After the pressure rally organized by the Joint Political Dalit Struggle Committee in Beni Bazar on Thursday, the speakers of the Konsabha demanded strict action against those who killed Mina by getting her pregnant through inter-caste love affair.
