Malikarjun Rural Municipality-4 MPs have discussed with the locals about the construction of infrastructure in the temple of Hunainath and the control of landslides near the temple.
On Tuesday, the local people's representatives and the technical team along with MPs inspected the landslide and discussed with the locals for management.
Darchula, member of the House of Representatives and former minister Dilendra Prasad Badu, member of the Far West Provincial Assembly Vikramsingh Dhami, Doti of the Intensive Development Office under the Ministry of Urban Development and the Technical Team of Patan, the Comprehensive Watershed Office under the Ministry of Forests, from Darchula, which is close to the temple, inspected.
Hunainath temple tourism infrastructure development and landslide control of the temple has been allocated 2 million budget in the current financial year. Badu, a member of the House of Representatives, said that the construction and implementation of the project to be conducted in Hunainath in the current financial year was discussed with the local stakeholders by keeping a technical team.
Considering the situation where the budget is allocated but not implemented, MP Badu said that before the DPR is made for the implementation of the plan with special priority, there was a discussion to get the opinions and suggestions of the locals. "The technical team has been asked to inspect the condition of the landslide and prepare the necessary DPR for this," he said.
Landslide inspection and discussion with stakeholders were attended by federal and state MPs along with district coordination committee chief Mahadev Badu, people's representatives of Malikarjun Rural Municipality, representatives and technicians of Infrastructure Development Office Doti/Major Watershed Office Patan, temple management committee officials and others.
