With the increase in the flow of Sunkoshi river, the Khurkot bus park area of Golanjor rural municipality-7 and Mulkot market of Sunkoshi rural municipality-5 of Sindhuli have been inundated.
Mulkot's quality beach resort and surrounding areas have been flooded. According to local Manoj Shrestha, Mulkot's resorts, hotels and local houses have also been flooded.
He said that there was no human damage because he was awake all night. As the houses were flooded, they could not retrieve anything and the locals were forced to go to the hills to save their lives. As the flood increased in Sunkoshi, houses in Khurkot bus park area were submerged. According to Sindhuli Police SP Govindaraj Kafle, local police have been mobilized from the Khurkot area police office and the locals have been asked to stay in a safe place.
