The Congress is going to promote Bahadur Singh Lama as the Chief Minister of Bagmati Province. The parliamentary party meeting held on Sunday has proposed party leader Lama as the next chief minister.
With the alliance of Congress and UML in the Sangh, the government is about to change in Wagmati as well. For the first time in Bagmati, the government is going to be formed under the leadership of Congress . Chief Minister Shalikram Jamkattel is taking a vote of confidence in the provincial assembly meeting today at 1 pm.
Congress and UML have an easy majority in rhetoric. In the 110-member state assembly, there are 37 members of the Congress and 27 members of the UML. 56 votes are required for majority.
