Chief Minister Hikmat Kumar Karki has expanded the cabinet in Koshi province. He expanded the cabinet on Friday by adding three ministers and one state minister to the cabinet formed on 27th Baisakh and 4th June 2081.
Chief Minister of Koshi Province Parashuram Khapung On Karki's recommendation Constitution of Nepal According to sub-section (9) of Article 168, the newly appointed ministers were made to take the oath of office and confidentiality.
Provincial Chief Khapung administered the oath to Bhupendra Rai as Minister of Physical Infrastructure Development, Khagensingh Hangam as Minister of Industry, Agriculture and Cooperatives and Sadanand Mandal as Minister of Tourism, Forest and Environment.
Similarly, Chief Minister Karki administered the oath of office and secrecy to Bhumi Prasad Rajwanshi as the Minister of State for Physical and Infrastructure Development.
Speaker of Koshi Province, Amber Bahadur Bista, ministers of various ministries of the province, heads of security agencies, secretaries of various ministries, activists of political parties and others were present at the swearing-in ceremony.
