Myagdi has been declared a district of ensuring that children between the ages of 16 months and 5 years are fully vaccinated.

According to Health Office Myagdi, in the current year, all 592 people from Raghuganga Rural Municipality of Myagdi, 641 people from Dhavalagiri Rural Municipality, 821 people from Mangala Rural Municipality, 1264 people from Beni Municipality, 1 thousand 80 people from Malika Rural Municipality and 471 people from Annapurna Rural Municipality. 6 children have received full vaccination.

Children between the ages of 16 months and under 16 years are considered to be fully immunized after receiving BCG, Rota, Polio, FIPV, PCV, DPT, Hep-B, Measles-Rubella and Japanese Encephalitis vaccinations within the schedule. 

Rajkumar Thapa, Chairman of the District Immunization Coordination Committee and Coordinator of the District Coordination Committee, said that Article 35 of the Constitution of Nepal and the Local Government Management Act, 074 have made it legal for every child to receive full vaccination and according to the provisions of the World Health Organization, annual full vaccination is required. Assurance and sustainability have been announced.

In paragraph 3 of the Local Government Management Act, 074, the work, duties and rights of the rural municipality/municipality and the work, duties and rights of the ward committee have been arranged for the operation of basic health services and vaccination services.
