Tourists can now enjoy jetboats and rafting on the Tamakoshi River, which flows through the district headquarters of Manthali. Jetboats have been operating in Tamakoshi for a year as a trial. Rafting services have also been added with the start of the new year 2083. An attempt has been made to make river travel more organized and diverse through these services operated by Tamakoshi Marine Adventure Pvt. Ltd.

The company has stated that it has started operating the jetboat commercially after successfully operating it during the trial period. Lekh Bahadur Bik of Ramechhap Municipality-8 says that jetboats and rafting provide an excellent entertainment option for locals and domestic tourists in Manthali, which is extremely hot. Bik says, 'Manthali is a very hot place, and there are not many places to visit here.' It is a pleasure to enjoy jet boating and rafting in Tamakoshi.' According to him, if such activities can be operated sustainably, the arrival of domestic and foreign tourists in Manthali can increase. It is believed that this will not only make the local economy dynamic but also create new employment opportunities.

According to Sagarhari Adhikari, the operator of the company, the jet boat service is currently being operated from Karamboat in Manthali to Manthali Ghat. He said, 'We have also added rafting service with the new year. Now, both services are attracting attention, up to 40 people are experiencing jet boating and rafting daily.'

According to him, there is a plan to expand this service to operate from Karamboat to Khurkot in the coming days. For that, he informed that coordination and cooperation are being done with the local level and the shipping office as work is required to make some risky places on the river safe and systematic.
