For example, I have been listening to the 'embarrassingly honest' confessions of alleged communists saying 'I wanted to sneak you inside the house, comrade, but I didn't want to upset my parents' to the fake 'sympathetic' gossip of 'I ate rice in the same plate with a Dalit friend'.
The suffering of the youth of the last generation is their own . Listening to their pain makes us sad. Many youth say that the word 'Dalit' should be removed. According to them, the problem is in the words. But is the problem only in words? They don't have the patience to argue about it.
It is a sad thing that the idea of uprooting or at least weakening this social structure, which has not allowed people to be people for centuries, cannot be deeply developed in our society. The subject of caste was a sensitive issue that should be the center of debate and discussion from the school level. But we always kept it in the shade . We did it as if we didn't see it, we did it as if we didn't hear it .
'Why get into unnecessary controversy?', 'Who will take such a risk?' Talking like this, our teachers also preferred to remain silent on this matter . Teachers are agents of social change. However, many of those teachers seem to be clinging to the status quo.
By the time students reach the campus, when they begin to understand a little about the structure of caste, they themselves are deeply enmeshed in its web. Navaran, Pasni, Gunyucholi, Vratbandha, Wedding and Funeral . Every ritual from birth to death is intertwined with the caste structure . But how insensitive are we becoming in such a sensitive matter? Isn't it time to think?

He is so commendable for changing the common comment that Dalits cannot be 'heroes'.
Prakash has tried to continue the musical rebellion started by Yash Kumar not only through songs, but now also through the canvas of cinema. He will now be more active in this cultural movement against discrimination.
The dark face of Nepali society, which is tainting the caste system, inter-caste love and separation, the quagmire of parties, the intransigence of non-governmental organizations, the selfish intentions of the police-administration . Singer-creator Prakash Saput has presented many such topics in audio-visual medium in a very poignant and artistic manner.
But the irony is, this strong movie made by spending crores was not successful in attracting the attention of the general Nepali audience. The fault was not in the quality of the film. The fault was in its 'subject matter', which did not match the intuitive psychology of the general audience.
On Saturday, the film was not played until 10 people gathered at the City Cinema Hall in Mechinagar, Jhapa. After searching for the audience, the door of the hall opened. On the other hand, looking at the crowd that filled the hall in 'Chakka Panja' and its sequels some time ago, it makes me think about the trend of having a 'house full' in light comedy movies, but in movies with real and socio-political issues, there is no audience . Are the Nepali viewers really not wanting social change? Or prefer the status quo? This is the subject of Sankthan .
The issue of caste is not only the pain of Dalits, it is also the common responsibility of non-Dalits. But when will the non-Dalit understand this message? 'Vasant' is not a cinema made for any particular caste. This is an artistic mirror made for the entire Nepalese society.
