The Financial Procedure and Fiscal Responsibility Regulations, 2077 stipulate that payment authorizations must be closed at least seven days before the end of the fiscal year. In accordance with this legal provision, payment authorizations have been closed in all local levels of Ramechhap from midnight of Asar 25. With the halt in payments, the final picture of expenditures for fiscal year 2082/83 has also become almost clear.
Manthali Municipality spent 85.04 percent of its total approved budget in the current fiscal year 2082/083. According to Chief Administrative Officer Devarshi Sapkota, 90 percent of the current expenditure and 72.03 percent of the capital expenditure budget were spent. Out of the approved budget of NPR 1,04,65,64,000 for fiscal year 2082/083, NPR 89,43,07,000 was spent, according to Chief Administrative Officer Sapkota.
The municipality had set a target of NPR 4,23,55,000 in internal revenue for the current fiscal year, but it succeeded in collecting more than the target, with NPR 4,28,15,000 in revenue.

According to Chief Administrative Officer Dinesh Bhattarai, out of the NPR 18,12,60,000 allocated for capital expenditure, NPR 13,86,76,004.81, or 76.51 percent, was spent. Similarly, out of the NPR 39,18,14,017 allocated for current expenditure, NPR 31,72,86,699.10, or 80.98 percent, was spent, according to the rural municipality.
Sunapati Rural Municipality spent 84.78 percent of its total allocated budget. According to Chief Administrative Officer Suresh Kumar Shrestha, a total budget of NPR 54,63,32,392 was allocated this year, including revisions. Of this, NPR 46,31,94,639 was spent.
Out of the NPR 34,55,54,392 allocated for current expenditure, NPR 31,19,22,799, or 90.26 percent, was spent, according to the rural municipality. Similarly, out of the NPR 20,07,78,000 allocated for capital expenditure, NPR 15,12,71,840, or 75.34 percent, was spent.
Likewise, Doramba Shailung Rural Municipality spent 79.36 percent of its total allocated budget in the current fiscal year 2082/083. According to Chief Administrative Officer Bishnu Kumar Mahat, a total budget of NPR 59,01,80,501 was allocated for fiscal year 2082/083, including revisions. Of this, NPR 46,83,97,173.80 was spent.
Out of the NPR 38,20,80,501 allocated for current expenditure, NPR 30,37,53,290.16, or 79.50 percent, was spent. Similarly, out of the NPR 20,81,00,000 allocated for capital expenditure, NPR 16,46,43,883.64, or 79.12 percent, was spent, according to the rural municipality.
