The Industry and Commerce Office Ramechhap has been put into operation as a single point service center (model office) from Monday.
With the launch of this service, which has come into operation under the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, Land and Administration of the Bagmati Province government, Ramechhap has become the third district in the province to implement such a service. While formally inaugurating the office, Bindu Shrestha, Minister for Industry, Commerce, Land and Administration of Bagmati Province, said that the concept of a single point service center has been implemented with the aim of making industry-related service delivery easy, fast and service-recipient-friendly.
Now, administrative services including industry registration, renewal, name registration, recommendation will be available from a single office. Along with this, the office has stated that digital service system, transparent and coordinated service, service-recipient-friendly environment, complaint management, timely service delivery, good governance and enterprise promotion will be given priority.
At the inauguration program, Minister Shrestha said that the goal is to develop all the Industry and Commerce Offices of Bagmati Province as single point service centers within the coming fiscal year. Stating that Ramechhap has been listed as the third district, she said that the main challenge is not only to be declared a model office, but to provide services accordingly continuously and effectively. The Bagmati Province government has taken forward a policy of gradually transforming industry and commerce offices into single point service centers with the aim of making public service delivery effective, transparent and citizen-friendly.
'Becoming a model office is not a big deal, but being able to provide services accordingly continuously is a big deal,' she said. She directed the office to work to maintain the quality of service and win the trust of the service recipients.
Secretary of the Ministry, Jivlal Bhusal, said that the single point service center was established with the aim of reducing the time and cost of the service recipients by providing all industry-related services from one place. He urged the office to pay special attention to the quality, effectiveness and continuity of the service.
Chief of the Industry and Commerce Office, Ramechhap, Khemraj Ghimire informed that the necessary physical and administrative structure has been prepared for the operation of the model office. Stating that the office has been organized to provide easy services to the service recipients through fast, simple and digital services, he expressed his commitment to continue providing quality service.
