The budget session of the Bagmati Provincial Assembly is set to begin on 11th Jestha. As per the decision of the Bagmati Provincial Government Council of Ministers meeting held on Thursday, the eighteenth session of the Provincial Assembly has been called by the Provincial Chief.

According to the spokesperson of the Provincial Government and Minister of Economic Affairs and Planning, the first meeting of the session will be held on Monday, 11th Jestha at 1 pm. The Council of Ministers had recommended the convening of the session to the Provincial Chief. Based on the same recommendation, Provincial Chief Deepak Prasad Devkota has called the session of the Provincial Assembly in accordance with Article 183, Clause 910 of the Constitution.

According to the information issued by the Provincial Chief, the session will be held at the assembly hall in the Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City premises. It is stated that the provincial government's policies, programs and budget for the fiscal year 2083/84 will be presented in the upcoming session.

Meanwhile, the Council of Ministers meeting has also decided to amend the provincial government's work division regulations. A spokesperson for the provincial government said that the regulations have been revised to clarify responsibilities following the restructuring of the number and scope of ministries.
