Chitwan Medical College is going to build a new hospital in Hetauda, Makawanpur.
The foundation stone of the new hospital building to be built in Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City-4 was laid during a ceremony on Tuesday. The building to be built in Huprachaur, Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City-4 was laid by Pratap Devkota, Chairman and Managing Director of CMC Hetauda.
The hospital, named 'CMC Hetauda', will be built within a year with an investment of about Rs 2 billion, said Chairman and Managing Director Devkota. Parking, canteen and other facilities will be constructed as per the hospital's standards, Devkota said. The hospital, which will be built on 19 acres of land, will initially have 100 beds. CMC had purchased land in Hetauda last year to build the hospital.
When the hospital comes into operation, about 50 doctors, health workers and 500 people will get employment . CMC Chitwan has been operating CMC Churehill Hospital in Thanabharyang, Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City-11 .
