The District Police Office, Makawanpur, has taken 18 people under control on charges of being involved in various criminal activities. As part of the 'Operation Drop' campaign conducted by the Makawanpur Police, 18 people have been arrested for hooliganism, unwanted activities and causing trouble to the general public. 

According to Pushkar Bogati, Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Police Office, Makawanpur, the people have been taken under control from various wards of Hetauda. Those arrested are 22-year-old Nasib Botela, 33-year-old Farooq Ansari, 45-year-old Bardi Bahadur Tamang of Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City-1, 30-year-old Suman Lochan of Hetauda-13, 29-year-old Kamal Singh Blon of Hetauda-12, 28-year-old Ajay Swangtan, 23-year-old Arpan Swangtan, 32-year-old Sabin Thing and 34-year-old Arjun Blon Tamang.

According to the police, the suspects are Suraj Shrestha, 22, of Hetauda-11, Subham Thing, 31, Nawaz Gurung, 25, Santkumar Maharjan, 22, Dipesh Lama, 27, Rosen Ojha, 21, of Hetauda-13, Rahul Tamang, 19, of Hetauda-14, Nabin Gautam, 21, of Hetauda-6, and Rabi Timilsina, 28, of Fatuwa Bijaypur Municipality-10, Rautahat.

The police have said that they have been taken into custody from various places and an investigation is underway. The police have clarified that legal action will be taken based on the necessary evidence.
