The Hetauda office of the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority has received the highest number of complaints related to the local level. Till Magh of the current fiscal year, 976 complaints have been received in the office. Of these, 633 are related to the local level.
The Hetauda office, which has 12 districts, had 1,794 complaints, including 976 complaints registered till Magh of the current fiscal year and the remaining 818 from last year. Of these, 738 complaints have been resolved, said Ramkrishna Pudasaini, head of the commission's Hetauda office.
In the seven months of the current fiscal year, the highest number of complaints has been received from Parsa district, 287. Pudasaini said that 250 complaints were received from Bara, 186 from Rautahat, 139 from Makawanpur, 111 from Chitwan and 2 from Dolakha.
During this period, there were zero complaints from Sindhupalchowk, Dhading, Rasuwa and Nuwakot districts. Last year, 53.11 percent of the complaints registered in Hetauda were related to the Ministry of Federal Affairs (local level). In the current fiscal year, more than 65 percent of the complaints have been related to the local level.
