According to Chief District Officer Rajesh Panthi, the election has been completed peacefully throughout the district. After the voting process is completed, the work of bringing the ballot boxes safely to the district headquarters has been started.

A joint security team of the Nepal Army Sri Srinath Battalion, Nepal Police and Armed Police Force deployed in the district has been mobilized to protect the ballot boxes. It is said that the transportation of the ballot boxes has been carried out in the presence of security personnel and representatives of the candidates. The ballot boxes have been transported from the geographically remote Langtang area by a Nepal Army helicopter.
