40 percent voting has been recorded in Ramechhap till 3 pm for the House of Representatives member election. Narayan Lamichhane, Election Officer of the District Election Office, said that 75,951 votes were cast till 3 pm out of the total voters in the district. According to him, 41,490 men and 34,461 women have voted so far. There are a total of 187,952 voters in Ramechhap. Voter turnout has been low at most polling stations since morning. Ramechhap, which has only one House of Representatives constituency, has 96 polling stations and 228 polling stations for this election. Voter turnout has been low at polling stations in rural areas including the district headquarters Manthali. According to DSP Bhola Kumar Bhatta, Chief of the District Police Office, Ramechhap, voting is taking place peacefully at all polling stations in the district. Police have stated that the voting process is proceeding smoothly as security arrangements have been tightened.
