One person died and seven others were injured in a Bolero accident at Dashkilo, Bhotekoshi Rural Municipality, along the Kodari Highway connecting the district to China on Friday night.

According to Police Inspector Krishna Khadka of the Barhabise Police Office, the accident occurred when a Bolero with registration number Ba Pa 1-030 Cha 3480 collided with a trailer of a container parked in the parking lot.

Police said that Sujan Tamang of Durumthali, Barhabise Municipality-2, died on the spot. 'Initial information has come that the accident occurred at around 11:45 pm, and an investigation is underway to determine how the incident happened,' said Prani Khadka. 

According to the police, seven people in the Bolero have been injured. Two of them are in critical condition, according to health workers. All the injured have been rescued and sent to Sindhu Sadabahar Hospital in Khadichaur and Dhulikhel Hospital in Kavre for treatment, according to the District Police Office, Sindhupalchowk.
