A 4-year-old girl from the same area died on the spot after being hit by a double cab Bolero vehicle bearing the number 01-031 Cha 5075 of Bagmati Province on Saturday afternoon, the District Police Office, Ramechhap has said.
Initial information has come that an auto driver took the opportunity to drive the Bolero when there was no driver in the vehicle, and further investigation into the incident is underway, informed Police Inspector Rajan Prasad Timsina of the District Police Office, Ramechhap.
According to locals, the Bolero vehicle entered the shutter while the girl was buying goods at a shop. Some locals were also injured in the accident. Locals said that the injured have been taken to Ramechhap Hospital for treatment. The incident has created an atmosphere of grief and fear in the Chyasku Bazaar area.
