Over 3,000 temporary voters in Makawanpur

There are 3,150 provisional voters in Makawanpur for the upcoming House of Representatives elections on February 21. The Provincial Election Office, Hetauda, has stated that this number may still change.

According to the number of provisional voters collected so far for voting in the proportional system, the district has found that there are a certain number of provisional voters.

According to Hari Prasad Dhakal, Chief of the Provincial Election Office, Hetauda, a list of 3,150 provisional voters has been collected in the district. He said that the number of provisional voters will be determined within 1 1/2 days.

The details of security personnel working in the district, civil servants and employees under the corporation, and prisoners in the prison have been collected.

Most of the names of prisoners in the Bhimphedi Regional Prison are not in the voter list. There are about 1,000 prisoners in the prison. Of these, only 75 will be allowed to vote in the proportional system. Jailer Subash Poudel said that only 73 male prisoners, including 2 women, in the prison will be allowed to vote. The names of the voters could not be included in the voter list due to the absence of election office staff at the prison while collecting the names.

In the 2079 elections, temporary polling stations for voters were set up at Bhimphedi Prison and the District Administration Office.
