A person died after a motorcycle lost control and fell into a canal in Radhapur, Bharatpur Metropolitan City-14 on Wednesday evening. According to the Chitwan District Police Office, the motorcycle driver, 40-year-old Binod Subedi of Bharatpur-16, died in the accident.
The motorcycle (registration number Ba Pra 06-006 Pa 7712) driven by Subedi fell into a canal near Radhapur Bishwajyoti Boarding School at around 8 pm. The motorcycle lost control and fell into the canal from a bridge, Chitwan District Police Office spokesperson DSP Rabindra Khanal said. Subedi, who was seriously injured, was admitted to the Bharatpur government hospital for treatment. Subedi was declared dead by doctors at around 9 pm.
