An Eicher vehicle carrying mineral water has fallen into Indrasarovar Lake on the Markhu-Kalki road section in Markhuchaur, Indrasarovar Rural Municipality-1, Makawanpur.
The Eicher vehicle (Ba 3 Kha 3954) coming from Kalaki towards Markhu suddenly veered forward while clearing water and fell about 15 meters below the road into the Indrasarobar Lake.
As soon as the news of the incident was received, a police team under the command of Police Assistant Inspector Dipesh Yadav from the temporary police post Markhu was immediately deployed to the scene.
The Eicher vehicle is currently submerged in the water of the lake and necessary steps are being taken to remove it, according to the police.
The police said that there was no human casualty in the incident. The accident site is about 700 meters east of the temporary police post Markhu.
