Distribution of warm clothes and educational materials to remote schools

The Army Wives Association has distributed warm clothes and educational materials to 167 students of a school in the remote mountainous area of ​​Ramechhap as part of its welfare and service-oriented social campaign.

In a program organized at Shree Mahalangur Secondary School in Umakunda Rural Municipality-1 on Wednesday, a team led by Sangh member Kopila Kafle distributed warm clothes including jackets, hats, bags, shoes and socks to the students.

The school has also been provided with one computer, 15 dozen photocopiers, 12 dozen lead pens, 12 registers, 2/2 volleyballs and nets, four sets of badminton and various story books.

School principal Amrit Thapa said that it is very positive that students from remote Himalayan regions are receiving such support. He expressed his belief that this will provide relief to the students and also provide more inspiration in education.

Chief District Officer Thapa mentioned that the provision of warm clothes, educational and sports materials by the Army Wives Association targeting schools in remote areas is a commendable act.
