A young man has died in a motorcycle accident that occurred on Friday in Sukute, Sangachokgadhi Municipality-10, Chautara along the Araniko Highway.
According to the District Police Office, Sindhupalchowk, the accident occurred at 12:30 pm on Friday when a motorcycle (Ba Pra 02-022 Pa 4754) heading from Balefi to Bandeu hit the back of a motorcycle (Ba Pra 02-017 Pa 9528) moving in the same direction. The police said that the motorcycle went out of control after the collision and overturned. The motorcycle driver, Santosh Gubhaju, 23, of Tripurasundari Rural Municipality-4, was seriously injured in the accident. He was taken to Sindhusdavahar Hospital for treatment, but was declared dead by the doctor at 1 pm, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Madhavraj Kharel. Both the motorcycles involved in the incident and the driver of the motorcycle (Ba Pra 02-017 Pa 9528) are under police custody.
