A motorcyclist died when a truck and a motorcycle collided in Jamire, Makawanpur on the Purvaschim Highway on Sunday.
The motorcycle driver, Surya Bahadur Moktan, 40, of Manahari Rural Municipality-7, died when a truck (Na 4 Kha 8921) heading from Hetauda to Chitwan collided with a motorcycle (Na 46 Pa 6028) heading from Manahari to Jyamire.
The motorcycle driver, Moktan, who was injured in the collision with the truck and motorcycle, was taken to Chitwan for further treatment after receiving general treatment at a hospital in Manahari. He died during treatment at the old medical college in Bharatpur, Chitwan, said DSP Pushkar Bogati, spokesperson of the Makawanpur District Police. He said that the police have taken the truck driver into custody.
