A team from the Manahari Area Police Office in Makawanpur has arrested three people with marijuana.
Arrested with 66 kg 10 grams of marijuana were Maniklal Chepang, 41, of Kyangrang, Raksirang Rural Municipality-8, Makawanpur, 19-year-old Thomas Chepang alias Deepak, and 19-year-old Sagar Tamang, both of the same place. A team deployed from the Area Police Manahari on Friday night arrested them while they were walking towards the banks of Yuktikhola in Raksirang Rural Municipality-8 with heavy loads on their backs. District Police Spokesperson DSP Pushkar Bogati said that the police found them while they were carrying the marijuana wrapped in red plastic bags and bringing it towards Manahari. He said that 66 kg 10 grams of marijuana was found in 2/2 plastic-wrapped bags carried by all three.
