A person has died in Chitwan after a motorcycle overturned due to an uncontrolled accident. The motorcycle (Ba Pra 02-034 Pa 5205) heading towards East Tandi from Bharatpur overturned on the East-West Highway in Ratnanagar Municipality-9, Tikauli, Chitwan Police have stated.
Chitwan Police Spokesperson DSP Rabindra Khanal said that 20-year-old Tushal Mahato of Madi Municipality-1, Gardi, who was seriously injured in the accident, died during treatment.
Police said that Tushal was driving the motorcycle that was involved in the accident. He suffered internal injuries to his right leg and chest.
19-year-old Ankit Mahato, who was sitting behind the motorcycle, suffered back injuries. Tushal, who was in serious condition, and Ankit, who was in normal condition, were admitted to the Central Hospital in Bharatpur for treatment.
Police said that Tushal Mahato died during treatment at around 3:30 am.
