A car with Indian number plates, which was traveling on a short alternative route from Hetauda to Kathmandu, caught fire last night.
The car was damaged in a fire. The car caught fire near Indrasarobar Rural Municipality-3 Mahadev Temple on the Dakshikali road section via Hetauda-Bhimphedi-Kulekhani, Sisneri.
A car with BR 01 F 1683 number, which was going from Hetauda to Kathmandu via a short route, suddenly caught fire. There were passengers including the driver in the car. The driver and the passengers got out safely as soon as the car caught fire, said Sisneri Police Station Assistant Inspector Ram Prasad Yadav.
It is believed that the fire was caused by a short circuit in the wire inside the car. The police said that the passengers were put in another vehicle and sent towards Kathmandu. According to Assistant Inspector Yadav, the car was completely destroyed by fire.
