35 people have been injured in an accident that occurred in Dhunibesi Municipality-6, Dhading along the Prithvi Highway. Seven vehicles collided, injuring 35 people from four vehicles.
All those injured in the accident are being treated at local hospitals and various hospitals in Kathmandu, informed Prakash Dahal, Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Dhading.
The school bus (Ba Pra001 Ka 0011), vehicle (coach) (NL 01 BA 4654), truck (Na 4 Kha 715), motorcycle (Lu 95 Pa 307), bus (GJ 03 AK 3231) going from Kathmandu to Gajuri, and bus (Ga 1 Kha 8551), tourist bus (Ba 1 Pa 917) going to Kathmandu were involved in the accident.
Most of the injured are students on school buses. 25 people on a school bus from Chitwan, eight people on a bus going from Gorkha to Kathmandu, one on a motorcycle and one on a coach were injured, according to the District Police Office.
