Kanti Lokpath has been closed to vehicles for 7 hours daily starting Saturday.

In order to widen the road in various parts of Kanti Lokpath and remove landslides that occurred during the rainy season, vehicular movement has been banned from Saturday, i.e. from 11 am to 5 pm.

In a notification issued by the Kanti Highway Road Project Ekantakuna on Tuesday, it has been mentioned that vehicular movement has been banned for 7 hours daily as road cutting and landslide removal are required in various parts of Kanti Lokpath.

The notification states that vehicular movement has been banned from 11 am to 5 pm for 60 days from 11 am to 5 pm from 11 am to 5 pm. There was extensive landslide on the highway during the rainy season.
