Dipesh Kumar, 25, of Kamalamai Municipality-14, Chandanpur, who was seriously injured in the accident, is undergoing treatment at Dudhauli Nagar Hospital.
The search for Shyam Kumar Bhattarai, the bus driver who fled after the accident, of Katari Municipality-3, Udayapur, is ongoing.
