30,000 fry of Gardi breed fish have been released into the Karra River. Releasing the fry in the river, Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City Mayor Meena Kumari Lama said that fish should be in everyone's kitchen as it is nutritious and healthy. She said that if the river can be kept free of pollution, fish and other aquatic animals will be protected. She also urged to control fishing by applying current and applying pesticides in the river.

Saroj Kumar Yadav, Chief of the Fisheries Promotion and Conservation Center, Hetauda, ​​said that the center has been encouraging fish farming.
