Following the Gen-G movement, the Chief Minister of Bagmati Province and former Chief Ministers of various provinces have interacted with Gen-G representatives.

The Bagmati Province Government held an interaction with Gen-G representatives on Sunday on the topic of 'Federal Democratic Republic: Challenges and Opportunities'.

In the program organized by the Bagmati Province Good Governance Center (Provincial and Local Governance Strengthening Program) and the Federalism and Localization Center (FLC), Gen-G spoke about their movements and demonstrations, including federalism. At the program, FLC President and former National Assembly member Khimlal Devkota presented a working paper on federalism, including important political developments from 2007 to the Gen-G movement.

On behalf of Gen-G leaders, Bikash Rasaili, Jasmin Ojha, Majid Ansari, Apsana Banu, Deeppal Chhetri, Bikash Yadav and others said that the youth have raised questions about federalism due to the lack of effective implementation of the constitution. They had mentioned issues such as the current leadership not improving, attacks from leaders from their own center, and the lack of a sense of federalism. They also said that the incidents of Bhadra 23 and 24 should be viewed separately.

The program, chaired by Bagmati Province Chief Minister Indra Bahadur Baniya, was attended by former Chief Ministers Rajendra Rai of Koshi Province, Lalbabu Raut of Madhesh Province, Dilli Bahadur Chaudhary of Lumbini Province, Ashtalakshmi Shakya and Shalikram Jammakattel of Bagmati Province. They praised the new generation's understanding of federalism and expressed the view that it is necessary to move forward by internalizing the necessary reforms within the constitution.

Gopal Krishna Neupane, Executive Director of the Provincial Good Governance Center, said that the provincial government organized the dialogue program with the aim of understanding the expectations of the new generation and formulating policies accordingly.
