From Kartik 2, the District Court, Makawanpur, will post the weekly hearing list of cases on the court's notice board and will start hearing cases regularly based on the priority of the cases from Kartik 13.

Taking into account the opinions and suggestions of the District Bar Association, the full meeting of the District Court held on Thursday decided to post the weekly hearing list of cases from Kartik 2 and to start hearing cases regularly from Kartik 13, informed Acting Clerk Keshav Raj Kaushik.

'The court is now gradually returning to normal' Clerk Kaushik said, 'The court services will return to normal from Kartik 13.' During the Gen-G movement, the court was arson and vandalized on Bhadra 24.

After the arson and vandalism, the District Court, Makawanpur, had been providing partial services since Bhadra 29. The court was providing other services besides regular hearings of cases.

It is said that 6 ongoing cases and 534 archive cases of the court were destroyed in the arson. Currently, 1,700 cases are pending in this court.
