Three people died and two were injured when the wall of Dana Udyog collapsed in Chitwan

Three people died in Chitwan's Ratnanagar on Wednesday when the wall of Dana Udyog collapsed. The condition of two more injured persons is moderate.

The Chitwan District Police Office has informed that three of the dead and five injured are workers of the company. 

The incident took place around 10:30 in the morning at Kisan Dana Udyog in Ratnanagar Municipality-12 Shantikunj Toll of Chitwan.

Shukram Darai of Khairhani Municipality-2, 54-year-old Resham Damai of Gorkha and now living in Ratnanagar-12 and 45-year-old Kamal Gurung of Ratnanagar-12 informed DSP Ravindra Khanal, spokesperson of Chitwan District Police Office. 

After the incident, those who were seriously injured died in the teaching hospital of Chitwan Medical College in Bharatpur.

39-year-old Jitendra Mahato of Ratnanagar-12 and 40-year-old Ankajaprasad Tharu of the same place are being treated in the same hospital. According to the Chitwan police, the condition of both the injured persons is moderate.

'The wall of a place like a warehouse where grains are produced and kept has collapsed and the people working there have been torn apart. It is said that the workers were crushed by the collapsed walls and sacks," said Superintendent of Police (SP) Govind Puri of Chitwan District Police Office who reached the spot.
