A case was filed against 43 people for selling substandard goods

The Food Technology and Quality Control Office has filed a case against 43 industries in Bara and Parsa for producing and selling substandard food.

In the financial year 2081/82, it was filed against 43 businessmen of Bara and Parsa in the district court and district administration office. According to the head of

office, Suresh Kumar Singh, a case has been filed under the Food Hygiene and Quality Act against five businessmen in District Court Bara and one businessperson in District Court Parsa. 

In the previous fiscal year 2081/82, the office filed a case against 26 people from Bara at District Administration Office Bara and two businessmen from Parsa at District Administration Office Parsa  had done A case has been filed against 24 producers of oil and ghee products, five producers of food, pulses and their products, two producers of fruits and vegetables, one producer of confectionery, five producers of candy, four producers of milk and milk products, and two producers of grains. 

For food hygiene, 56 hotels and restaurants and eight Hot Bazaar Mela Festivals were monitored in the year 2081/82, according to the office. During monitoring, expired, unlabeled, rotten and inedible items were seized.
