Vehicle operation has been banned on BP Highway till August 15. The time has been extended from 1st of August to 15th of August for the suspension of vehicle operation at night during the month of July.
In the notification released by the District Administration Office Kavre on Friday, it has been mentioned that the traffic operation on the highway has been banned till the 15th of August. Assistant Chief District Officer Sudarshan Shrestha informed that the district security committee Friday's district security meeting decided to ban the operation of passenger and private vehicles on the highway from 1st August to 15th from 5 in the evening to 5 in the morning.
It is said that traffic operation has been stopped due to danger in various places from Kavrevanjang in Kavre to Khurkot section in Sindhuli. Earlier, the meeting held on June 6 had decided to not operate vehicles on the highway at night from the 7th.
