Mangalba Provincial Assembly meeting has started in the new building of Bagmati Provincial Assembly.
The Speaker of Bagmati State Assembly Bhuvan Kumar Pathak inaugurated the pre-fab building of the State Assembly, which was constructed after a period of about 5 years, on Tuesday during a ceremony.
Bagmati Provincial Government's Ministry of Physical Infrastructure Development, the building was built by the Minister of Physical Infrastructure Development Dr. Dinesh Chandra Devkota handed it over to Speaker Pathak of Bagmati Province. After handing over the key, the speaker inaugurated the state assembly building. It took 5 years to complete the building, which was supposed to be completed in 18 months, due to the delay of the builders. The building was completed by contracting in two phases.
2077 The foundation stone was laid on November 10, 2077, and the meeting hall, which can hold 250 people, was built using EPS sand beach technology. Arghakhanchi-Sagun-Paramount JV is ready in 5 years even if it can be completed in 18 months. According to the contract, the construction company had to build the assembly hall by 21st of Baisakh 2079.
The state assembly building built in Hetaunda sub-metropolitan city-10 has been prepared at a cost of 12 crores and 29 lakhs. When the said building is not ready The Provincial Assembly Secretariat was established in the building where the Regional Education Directorate was located. Until now, the work of the Provincial Assembly was being conducted from the same building.
